Here at Scuba Mallorca, we hire staff for much
more than their diving abilities.
We insist that our staff are renewed, fully
insured PADI professionals with excellent interpersonal and exemplary diving abilities.
In addition, we look for other attributes,
like language skills, character, enthusiasm, dedication and loyalty. Click on the

Fancy a summer job? We are always
on the lookout for new additions to our
dive team. If you fill these
criteria
and
want a career in diving, then we would
like to hear from you. It doesn't
even
matter
if you are not a Divemaster yet, we can
train you to any level during your
time here.
How about a summer holiday while furthering
your diving skills? Scuba Mallorca offers
a work in trade for courses program. In this
program you must have a minimum of the PADI
Advanced Open Water Diver certification and
20 dives. We, of course, would be happy to
train you to this level. After obtaining
this level, you will then be able to work
in trade for courses through the Divemaster
certification only. This program is available
only if you are an Advanced or Rescue Diver
and the program must be taken through Divemaster.
It is strickly work in trade for courses
and has no cash value.
Basically the way the program works is that
you agree to give us 2 months of your
time
and we will train you through Divemaster.
During this time period you will be
studying,
learning, working and obtaining valuable
skills needed to become a successful
divemaster.
The program does not include accommodations,
meals, certifications, books or equipment
rental. We are, of course, happy to
trade
the cost of equipment rental (at a
very minimal
charge) again in trade for work. We
DO offer
our students on this program substantial
discounts and incentives to own their
own
equipment.
We strongly encourage you to carry
on at
our dive centre and obtain your assistant
instructor or attend the instructor
development
course. While these courses cannot
be completed
in trade, you will be able to complete
several
of the required dives while working
at our
dive centre and we can offer you any
needed
additional dives at a substantial discount.
